Finance Committee

The Finance Committee of Our Lady of Hope Parish comprises six active members of the parish, including a Chair appointed by the Pastor, who act as consultants to the Pastor about financial planning, budgetary analysis, and compliance with policy. The Pastor is an ex officio member of the committee. The committee meets every two months to review budget, investments, savings, collections, fund raising, and condition of Parish buildings. Canon Law requires the Parish to have a Finance Committee.

Lord’s Housekeepers

The Lord's Housekeepers are a group of volunteers who come and clean our church once a month on Saturday morning from 9:30 to about 11:30.  They vacuum, dust, polish, wash the floor and wax it about two times a year. Whatever needs to be done, they do the best they can. We also can use more volunteers.

Pastoral Council

The Pastoral Council of Our Lady of Hope serves as an advisory body to the pastor. The council presently consists of nine members, all members are appointed.  All standing committees are expected to report substantive issues to the Parish Council.  The work of the Parish Council is to establish priorities and to make recommendations to the pastor.

Rosary Society

The objective of the Rosary Society is to encourage a spiritual growth of our fellow parishioners through the recitation of the Rosary, devotion to Our Lady, communal prayer and Mass together.  Membership is open to all men and women of the parish.  Regular meetings of the Society are held on the first Sunday of each month (September through June), starting by participating in Mass together at 9 am, followed by recitation of the Rosary, a short business meeting and refreshments.  Occasionally speakers or presentations will occur at the meetings.  Each year the Society promotes special parish activities, such as an outreach program of giving to the less fortunate, a special tribute to Mary in the Church, daily recitation of the Rosary during the month of May and going once a month to a local nursing home to lead residents in Rosary recitation.  Other Society activities include: a St. Joseph Table at the March meeting, a Trash & Treasure Sale in June to raise needed funds for the coming year, a bake sale, uniting as one body at funeral services of members.
